Editorial policy

How SaveNests assigns, drafts, labels, and approves personal-finance articles.

What we publish

Explainers, calculators, and checklists for households in the United States. We prefer a method a reader can rerun — a formula, a checklist, a primary-source table — over a list of tips with no source.

We do not publish fabricated personal stories, invented testimonials, fake experts, or statistics we have not taken from a cited source. Round numbers used to show arithmetic are labeled as illustrations.

Drafts and approval

A brief records search intent, a keyword candidate, the reader’s problem, an outline, sources to check, internal links, and Pinterest concepts. A draft adds the article, the sources actually used, and a visible draft banner.

Publication means an editor changes the article status to published. That adds it to the sitemap and removes the noindex tag. Keyword volumes and difficulty scores are not part of the brief, because we do not invent them.

Pinterest

Each guide can carry several pin concepts at 1000 by 1500 pixels, with a distinct title, a description, and the article URL. A person posts them. The site does not connect to Pinterest and does not auto-publish pins.
